If you’re in the Monkton area and looking to have fun this weekend, the Russell Library is holding its annual Strawberry Festival & Book Sale on Sunday, June 24th from 10-2. The get-together features a variety of books for sale along with local strawberries, cake, ice cream, lemonade & hot dogs. The Vermont Ukulele Society will be on hand to provide entertainment along with a silent auction, to raise money for the library. The sale takes place at the Monkton Volunteer Firehouse on State’s Prison Hollow Road. Everyone is welcome! For more info, call 802-453-4471.
