Both the Bridport Grange and the Shoreham Congregational Church have buildings that need repair. The two organizations are joining forces to sponsor a Spaghetti Dinner, using the space at the Shoreham Congregational Church, to benefit the Building Funds of both groups. By combining the workforces and resources of both the Shoreham Congregational Church and the Bridport Grange, they plan to create a community event for both towns that will benefit both of them.
The Spaghetti Dinner will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 5 to 7:30 PM. The menu includes spaghetti with both meat and vegetarian sauces, tossed salad, bread, beverages and dessert. The cost is $12 for adults and children 12 and over, or $6 for children under 12. Proceeds will be split between the two organizations.
At the dinner, we will also sell raffle tickets for a donated cord of firewood. The winner will need to deliver and split the wood themselves, or arrange to have it done. Ticket prices are 1 ticket for $1, 6 tickets for $5, and 12 tickets for $10. The drawing will be at a pancake breakfast on November 9. You will not need to be present at the drawing to win.
