Back by popular demand! The Makery at Hannaford Career Center and Addison County Solid Waste Management District invite you to a Repair Fair. Rather than throwing that old toaster into the landfill, maybe it can be fixed. Get that zipper repaired on a favorite pair of pants rather than cutting them into painting rags. Here are the type of items we’ll look at:

Small appliances
Lamps
Mending and small sewing projects
Small furniture repair
Email us with other requests

We can’t guarantee we’ll be able to fix it, and if your item gets broken in the process, it’s at your own risk. But, it’s worth a try! Re-use, recycle, repurpose is our motto.

THERE IS NO COST TO ATTEND THE REPAIR FAIR OR HAVE YOUR ITEM REPAIRED. DONATIONS ARE APPRECIATED.

You’ll be asked to sign up for a time slot and that you bring only one item per slot, but you can reserve two time slots during the Repair Fair.

Masks will be required while indoors at the Hannaford Career Center.
