Pumpkin Growing Contest

The UVM Extension 4-H Group is sponsoring a statewide pumpkin growing contest this spring.  For kids ages 5-18, across the Green Mountain State.  Kids are invited to use their skills to grow a big pumpkin and possibly win prizes.  Once registered, participants will get a variety of “mystery” seeds to grow pumpkins for entry in the contest.  The contest is free to take part in and 4-H Membership is not required.  But kids must register by May 25th to get the seeds and their pumpkin challenge record book.  To register, or learn more, contact Martha at 827-3913 or by email at martha.manning@uvm.edu.
