If you enjoy theater and history, a stop at the Ripton Community Church on July 22nd will be time went spent. There’s a performance of “My Dearest Friend” being put on by performers Diana Bigelow and Jim Stapleton who return as John and Abagail Adams. John and Abagail had one of America’s greatest love stories and the performance features a reading of their letters which are an insight into the couple’s affection for each other, their thoughts on the revolutionary war era, and the building of the new nation.
