Come celebrate Arbor Day on Saturday, May 6th! The Middlebury Tree Committee, in collaboration with the Ilsley Library, Middlebury Natural Foods Co-op (MNFC) and Sparrow Art Supply, is offering events to celebrate nature, the environment and TREES! FREE children/family activities from 10:00 – noon at the library. At 10AM Chris Olson, a local forester, will do a spirited reading of the classic book, The Lorax by Dr. Seuss. Immediately afterward children will learn how to make their own Nature Journal that they can take home with them. Younger children will need the help of a caregiver!
