The Ilsley Public Library is celebrating its 100th year birthday! There will be many activities for all ages happening throughout the day; music, poetry, face-painting, Legos, stories, film, photo booth and book sale. At 11 a.m. there will be a mini Tome Talk discussion of an Anne Patchett essay at Otter Creek Bakery, with treats. At 3 p.m., cake and ice cream will be served.
The cake will be part of a Birthday Cake Bake Off! Get out your mixers and your favorite recipes and bake a birthday cake for the party. There are 3 categories; Amateur, Professional and Gluten Free. Entries will be judged on appearance, creativity and taste. Guest judges are Chef Jillian Huizenga, Culinary Arts Instructor @ PAHCC and Tatiana Dale, Otter Creek Bakery Manager. Just bring your entry to the library between 11AM-1PM. What a great way to celebrate your community library!
