In this talk, award winning landscape designer Silvia Jope of Old World Gardens will teach the basic steps behind landscape planning while approaching it through the lens of ecology and sustainability. Silvia aims to inspire gardeners to create landscapes that are havens for people and wildlife alike and that are energy wise, multi-functional and beautiful. The talk begins at 1:00 p.m. at the Residence at Otter Creek. It is free and open to the public.
