Become a Volunteer Firefighter

Have you ever thought about being a firefighter and become more involved in the Bristol community? Then come to the Bristol firehouse on Saturday, May 13 from 9 till 1. Enjoy coffee, see demonstrations and have all of your questions answered. You have to be at least 18 years old with a diploma or equivalent. The Bristol Fire Department even has a cadet program for 16 to 18 year old persons. They have 30 members but at times, not everyone is available so more firefighters are needed. They offer fantastic training and have 3 Vermont Fire Academy instructors that will let you go from zero to firefighter in a short time. If firefighting ever crossed your mind, you’ll want to be there. Saturday, May 13 from 9 to 1 at the Bristol Fire Department.
