“Animal Encounters” presentations in Orwell, at the Orwell Free Library, Saturday April 30th at 10:00 am and 11:00 am. The Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS) offers two programs on owls, with live animal demonstrations. “Give a Hoot,” at 10 a.m., is for young children; “Owls and Their Calls,” at 11 a.m., is for all ages.
