The Teen Makery at the Hannaford Career Center welcomes all high school aged students, Thursdays afterschool from 3:15 – 5:00pm (on school days only). Including VAL, Home-Schoolers, and those not attending school. Students can participate in Free labs with equipment, tools, and supplies included for individual or group projects. Local experts are in each lab for teaching and guidance.
Current Labs Available:
Woodworking Lab (16-18 year old),
Sewing Lab or Magic: The Gathering (Both Open to all high school age students 9th-12th or the equivalent)
Future special classes will be added, including T-Shirt Design, Improv, CNC Router sign making, basic cooking, welding, and CNC Plasma cutter.
Food and snacks are provided and transportation can be arranged if needed.
The Teen Makery afterschool program is offered through a partnership between The Makery at Hannaford Career Center, the Patricia A. Hannaford Career Center, the Counseling Service of Addison County, the Teen Center, and Heidi’s Therapy, PLC.
