SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – This week’s Pets with Potential are a dog, a cat, and two guinea pigs waiting at the Humane Society of Chittenden County for their forever homes.
Linus is a happy, energetic, loving pup who loves to explore. Staffers say he’s the very definition of a hound dog, sniffing out every new scent as he discovers the world. He’s also very affectionate and loves to settle down with you after his adventures. He’s good with dogs, dog-savvy cats and most kids.
Fettuccine is a shy but sweet kitty who loves to play. Staffers say he’s independent and charming but might need some time to adjust to his new environment. Once he’s settled, though, he’s sure to blossom into the affectionate boy he is at heart. He’s good with cats and older kids but has no known history with dogs.
Tabouleh and Baba Ghanoush are a pair of bonded guinea pigs looking to find a home together. Staffers say they’re vocal and snuggly pigs full of personality. They can be a bit hesitant with handling at first but once they’re comfortable, they love to be touched.
