SHELBURNE, Vt. (WCAX) – Police say a teen driver was carjacked in Shelburne on Thursday.
It happened at about 5:45 p.m. at the business complex behind Folino’s Pizza.
Investigators say a woman used intimidation to take the vehicle from the 16-year-old driver. No weapon was displayed.
The car is a silver Volvo XC60 with Vermont plates HTF 692.
Police say the car was last seen on Silver Street in Hinesburg headed toward Monkton.
The suspect is described as a Black woman, around 35, with dark, shoulder-length hair.
