FAIRLEE, Vt. (WCAX) – A police presence in Fairlee on Friday morning prompted a nearby school to take safety precautions.
Police tell WCAX News that because of an investigation at a residence on Main Street, the Samuel Morey School secured the building until the matter was resolved.
The principal says there is no threat to the school and the measure was taken out of an abundance of caution.
