LEBANON, N.H. (WCAX) – The Poma lift starts spinning for the season at Storrs Hill, and it’s a ticket price you just can’t beat.
Skiers and snowboarders can shred the slopes for free all season long thanks to a grant from the Byrne Family Foundation.
The Lebanon Outing Club, which runs the ski hill, applied for the grant as a way to introduce more people to local skiing.
“The goal is to bring more awareness of what we have, our gem in the area. And maybe help keep this going every year. So that way we can keep letting families come out and enjoy family fun time, get out on the snow, learn something new,” said Cory Grant from the Lebanon Outing Club.
In addition to the 15-hundred-foot trail, Storrs Hill also has a ski jump and a small terrain park.
They’re open Friday evenings and on weekends.
