MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – Montpelier is holding a pair of events this holiday weekend to try to bring in your business.
First, it’s Montpelier’s annual Flannel Friday. Shoppers wearing flannel can win prizes and gift cards to local businesses. Of course, that’s only if they are spotted by the “Flannel Fairy.”
Then, on Small Business Saturday, shoppers can take a free ride on a horse-drawn wagon between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. After dark, shoppers can check out the seven illuminated bridges while strolling the city’s downtown streets.
