BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Students at the University of Vermont are making it easier to catch the bus on campus.
Members of the Student Government Association will hold a ribbon cutting at a campus bus station to celebrate a year-long effort to make them more accessible.
Starting last year, the student government and the UVM Disabled Students Union started a project to add benches at major bus stops on campus for students who can’t stand for a long time.
That ribbon cutting is scheduled for Tuesday night at 5:30.
