BARRE, Vt. (WCAX) – There was drama in a Barre courtroom Monday as a suspect in a Montpelier knife attack was removed from his hearing.
Sheriffs had to take Teiontay Braxton, 45, from the courtroom hearing after he continuously commented that he was the one who was attacked by a group of a dozen people last Thursday afternoon near the Shaw’s supermarket and was only defending himself.
Prosecutors say Braxton escalated the situation by pulling the knife.
