ST. ALBANS, Vt. (WCAX) – An armed robbery brings a heightened police presence to St. Albans. The clerk at South Main Grocery in St. Albans tells Channel 3 she was robbed after someone came in and threatened her with two knives, demanding she open the cash register.
Early this morning around 6 a.m., police can be seen on Main Street outside the grocery store. We reached out to St. Albans P.D. to find out more about the incident, but they have not responded yet to our request for comment. The clerk tells us the incident is still under investigation.
