SWANTON, Vt. (WCAX) – One person is dead after a car crash in Swanton.
Vermont State Police say around 2:30 Saturday morning, they were notified via Apple Crash Detection of a collision in the area of Highgate Rd. near Bushey Rd. in Swanton.
When emergency crews got to the scene, they located a Subaru Forester off the side and in some trees.
Police say a 26-year-old St. Albans resident was pronounced dead at the scene, and are withholding the identity until family is reached.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
