LUNENBURG, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont State Police arrested a Massachusetts murder suspect this morning.
Officers say at around 6:30 a.m. they were notified that 33-year-old Kevin Digregorio, a wanted man from Randolph, Massachusetts, was in the Waterford area.
Digregorio had an outstanding arrest warrant for murder, assault to kill, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, all stemming from an incident that happened Monday in Brockton, Massachusetts in which two people were stabbed, one fatally.
VSP responded and found Digregorio’s vehicle in a pull-off along U.S. Route 2 in Lunenburg. Digregorio himself was soon located and taken into custody.
He’s being held without bail as a fugitive from justice and is scheduled to be arraigned this Thursday in Vermont Superior Court.
