PERU, N.Y. (WCAX) – New York authorities say a suspect has been arrested in the stabbing death of a woman in Peru, New York, Wednesday.
New York State Police say Kevin Kosza, 27, was charged Thursday with murder in the death of Krysten Remy, 23. They say the crime was committed in the presence of Remy’s child, who later fled the scene.
It happened at a home on Jenkins Street sometime Wednesday afternoon. Troopers were called for a welfare check and found Remy’s body inside.
Koza was in court Thursday to face the murder and child endangerment charges.
