BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – The University of Vermont has revealed some of the costs associated with changing its logo and branding.
University officials declined an interview with us on Tuesday about the branding change, but on Wednesday, they released new details about the new logo and branding.
Regarding the cost– the university says the new logo– a “V” in a shield– was designed by a New York company at a cost of $145,000.
They plan to phase in the new logo to help control costs, with it completed by next year. They did not release a total cost for phasing it in.
Along with the logo, UVM is a new brand– “For people and planet”– which they say captures what the university stands for.
