MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont’s adjutant general has been reelected.
Maj. Gen. Greg Knight was first elected in 2019 by the state’s general assembly. And they picked him again to lead the Vermont National Guard.
He keeps the post for another two years.
Knight ran unopposed.
The adjutant general tells WCAX News he will continue to focus on recruitment, readiness, connections with the Legislature, continuing to improve transparency in the Guard and helping veterans with their issues.
