BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A Vermont woman charged with the murder of her husband has changed her plea to guilty.
Angela Auclair is accused of murdering her husband David Auclair with the help of her son Kory Lee George in July of 2019. Auclair was originally accused of planning the murder, but after George took a plea deal to testify against her, he stated that it was actually Auclair who pulled the trigger.
Now, after almost four years since David was found shot to death in Hinesburg, Angela changed her plea to guilty Monday afternoon. She faces 18 years to life in prison, and sentencing will take place on April 29th.
