An exciting third period that saw a combined five goals scored in 14 minutes led to a 3-3 tie for the Middlebury men’s hockey team (1-7-1) at Plattsburgh State (8-5-3) on Friday. The Panthers return home on Tuesday when they host #11 Norwich at 7:00 p.m.

Out of the gates, Middlebury goalkeeper Jake Horoho was peppered with shots from all directions, but the sophomore did a good job turning all of them away. In the opening period, he had 14 saves to keep the contest 0-0 heading into the break.

After over 30 minutes of scoreless play, Middlebury opened the scoring.
