Middlebury bounced back from a two-goal deficit in the second period, but visiting Colby netted the game’s final two tallies for a 4-3 NESCAC victory over the Panthers on Friday in Kenyon Arena. Middlebury (6-7-1, 3-5-1) is home again Saturday with a 3:00 p.m. start against Bowdoin, while the Mules (6-6-3, 3-5-2) head to Williams for a 3:00 p.m. faceoff.
Colby jumped out to the early lead, scoring on a 5-on-3 power play. Kienan Scott stepped in from the point and wristed a shot into the upper-left side of the net past Panther goalie Brian Ketchabaw at the 5:51 mark.
