MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – Love is in the air and on the streets of Montpelier this Valentine’s Day thanks to a mysterious tradition.
The Capital City woke up Friday to red hearts taped to windows all through the downtown.
The Valentine Phantom has been spreading love in Montpelier for more than two decades, and encouraging community members to be kind to each other and to spread joy.
Police have never identified the mystery cupid and no arrests have been made.
