DANBY, Vt. (WCAX) – Police have released the identity of the man who died in a house fire last week in Vermont.
Crews were called to the fire on Friday morning at a home on Old Otis Road in Danby.
They found a body inside the home.
Tuesday, Vermont troopers said the medical examiner identified the victim as the homeowner, Charles Wrobel, 81.
Police say the investigation into the fire is ongoing. However, on Friday they said so far nothing indicates the incident was suspicious.
