VERNON, Vt. (WCAX) – Authorities have identified a Vernon man they say is responsible for hitting a 14-year-old girl with his car and then driving away.
It happened on Friday just after 4 p.m. on Route 142 in Vernon.
Vermont State Police say David Knapp, 61, of Vernon, was charged with driving in a negligent manner.
The teen was treated and released for minor injuries.
