BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – State leaders want to hear from you on a multi-million dollar plan to shore up the state budget.
Governor Phil Scott’s administration unveiled their ‘budget adjustment’ proposal this week, allowing them to make changes to this year’s state budget.
That includes big investments in state IT, offsetting the cost of denied FEMA claims for damage to state government buildings, workforce programs, and more.
Lawmakers are holding a public hearing on the proposal next Thursday.
