WASHINGTON (WCAX) – The Biden administration Tuesday announced $23 million to fund Vermont’s Tech Hub.
The Green Mountain State is pushing to be a leader in the production of next-generation gallium nitride semiconductors that are used in cars, smart devices, data centers, aerospace, and defense.
Vermont has made pitches including projects at the University of Vermont, GlobalFoundries in Essex Junction, and OnLogic in South Burlington.
The awards will be made official later this winter.
