Vt. police ask public for help in search for wanted man

SHAFTSBURY, Vt. (WCAX) – Police are asking the public for help finding a Vermont man wanted on multiple charges.

Vermont state police say Todd Thompson, 48, of Shaftsbury, faces six felony charges, including aggravated sexual assault, stalking and domestic assault. Troopers say the charges stem from an incident last month.

Police have not been able to find Thompson. They say he is known to have ties to Shaftsbury, Bennington and the White Creek, New York, area.

Anyone with information on where to find Thompson is asked to call the state police in Shaftsbury at 802-442-5421 or to submit an anonymous tip online.
