PITTSFORD, Vt. (WCAX) – This week’s Pets with Potential are two dogs and a cat at the Rutland County Humane Society in Pittsford waiting for their forever homes.
Aries is a 3-year-old pup. He loves treats, walks and long afternoon naps. Staffers describe him as a big goof who loves to give kisses. He’s just happy to be wherever his people are. Aries will do best in a home with older children and no other pets.
Bluey is a 2-year-old kitty. Staffers describe her as a professional cuddler. They say she has lots of love to give and lights up any room she walks into. Though she is a little wobbly and needs a little extra care and patience, she does have a playful side. She will do best as the only pet in a quiet home.
Finally, meet Graham. This 1-year-old dog loves to be out and about meeting new people. He can be a bit shy at first but once he warms up, staffers say he blossoms into a playful and affectionate companion. He’s got a few tricks up his sleeve and loves to run outdoors before winding down for an afternoon siesta. He’s not great with cats but could do well with dogs and older kids.
