BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A man known to police for burglarizing Burlington businesses was back in court again Friday after his latest arrest.
Police say Lance Mason, 54, admitted to stealing again to feed his drug addiction. This time they say he stole — or tried to steal — on Thursday from the Church Street Marketplace campaign offices of Senator Bernie Sanders and a Burlington Telecom office.
Police say he already has a record of 26 felony convictions, among other charges.
He pleaded not guilty Friday to the latest charges.
