BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A traffic alert for travelers in Chittenden County.
Interstate 89 southbound at Exit 17 in Colchester will be closed for multiple nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., starting today and ending Tuesday morning.
Traffic will be detoured with cars exiting I-89 at Exit 17, turning left onto Route 2, and then immediately re-entering the interstate via the Exit 17 on-ramp.
Northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane. Route 2 will remain open.
Drivers are asked to slow down and pay attention to signage in the area.
