ST. ALBANS, Vt. (WCAX) – One man is in serious but stable condition after police say he was stabbed in the chest.
St. Albans Police responded to Ranimer Pl. for a reported stabbing just before noon Sunday.
Police determined that 37-year-old Justin Lee Reynolds of St. Albans stabbed 30-year-old Jason McWilliams of St. Albans in the chest during an argument.
Emergency crews transported McWilliams to the hospital where he remains in serious but stable condition.
Police say Reynolds is in jail without bail, awaiting his arraignment on the charge of second-degree attempted murder.
They say Reynolds has a significant criminal record, with five felony convictions, nine misdemeanor convictions and a slew of other charges.
