BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Police are asking the public for help identifying the person who broke into a Burlington drug store and dragged out an ATM.
Investigators say at about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, the burglar smashed a window in the vestibule at Kinney Drugs on Shelburne Road and then used their car to drag an ATM there into the parking lot. They tried to break into the machine but were not successful.
Surveillance cameras captured images of the car. It appears to be a silver Mitsubishi sedan with heavily tinted windows, a spoiler, LED headlights and distinctive black rims.
