St. Albans police stop burglary in progress

ST. ALBANS, Vt. (WCAX) – St. Albans police officers were able to stop a burglary before the perpetrators finished the job.

According to the St Albans Police Department, officers were on foot patrol around 4:30 AM Sunday morning when they saw something suspicious going on in the store “From Scratch”, on South Main Street, and stepped in.

Police arrested and charged Nathan Robtoy and Tony Brace with burglary, possession of burglary tools, unlawful mischief, and resisting arrest. The two are being held with bail at Northwest State Correctional Facility while they await their trial.
