
BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A man who has 1,700 police encounters is behind bars again.
Burlington Police say Burlington fire called them for an assistance Saturday afternoon after responding to a medical incident on North Willard St.
They say there they encountered 46-year-old Michael Reynolds who was allegedly intoxicated and uncooperative with officials.
Police say Reynolds physically menaced the firefighters and assaulted a fire captain with bodily fluids.
Reynolds then fled, and police later located him on Pearl St. and arrested him.
He is being held at Northwest State Correctional Facility. Police expect he will be charged two counts of Assault on a Protected Professional and one count of Aggravated Disorderly Conduct.
