WILLISTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Boogie Nights and Magnolia actor Luis Guzmán is the face of a new beverage out of Williston.
It’s called “Guz Jus,” a maple lemonade in apple cider and blueberry flavors. Guzmán poured samples at Chef’s Corner Saturday with chefs and business partners Scott Sorrell and Jeff Moisan. The Wednesday star says the partnership was born out of love for the cafe and a dream of helping the Green Mountain State he calls home.
“We want to be able to create more business, you know, create more jobs here, create some kind of financial independence, but also put us in a position that we can help our community by making donations,” Guzmán explained.
Guzmán says he hopes to eventually sell the drink globally. You can find a can in your local grocery store around late May or early June.
