BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – If you plan to vote in Vermont’s presidential primary by mail, you will have to request a ballot ahead of time.
This year, Super Tuesday also falls on town meeting day, March 5.
If you show up to the polls in person, you will have to ask for a Democratic or Republican primary ballot. If you are requesting it by mail, elections officials say you also need to request your ballot ahead of time online.
“If you are going to the ‘My Voter’ page at mvp.vermont.gov and they want to request that their presidential primary ballot be mailed to them, you will have to make their preference on the website,” said Secretary of State Sarah Copeland-Hanzas.
After filling out your ballot, you can return it to a ballot drop box or to the polls in person on March 5.
