WOODSTOCK, Vt. (WCAX) – Authorities are investigating a school threat in the town of Woodstock.
Woodstock Police say they were notified Wednesday morning by Woodstock Union High School officials about a threat made against a teacher and students. They say the school was already on a two-hour weather delay and that officials then decided to cancel school for the day out of an abundance of caution.
Police say they responded to the home of a student who allegedly made the threat and spoke with the student and parents. They say mental health officials were also brought in and that they determined there was no active threat.
The Windsor County Sheriff’s Department will post deputies at the school Thursday.
