GEORGIA, Vt. (WCAX) – Very early Sunday morning, at approximately 4:33 AM Vermont State Police were called to the Georgia Market, 962 Ethan Allen Highway for a burglary. They arrived to see a smashed glass door and did a sweep of the building to make sure no one was still on the property. After making sure no one was still inside, they reported that several items from inside the store were missing.
Security video captured two male subjects as they entered the market – using a hatchet to smash the glass door. The time stamp shows that it had just occurred at 4:18AM.
