SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Super Bowl Sunday means indulging on pizza and wings while rooting for your favorite football team, or this year rooting for your favorite singer. Leonardo’s pizza in South Burlington is busier than usual this Sunday night. The general manager says almost every employee is scheduled to work because of the high demand in orders. The pizza shop received roughly 20 to 50 pre-orders and they’ve been getting calls all day asking how late they will be open.
“We’re really happy to serve the community, especially today, but all the time, so really, we’re just happy to always be here for you guys one slice at a time.” said Brian Kearney, Leonardo’s Pizza South Burlington.
And even though it was a jam-packed day, they will be back open again Monday at 11:00AM.
