WATERBURY, Vt. (WCAX) – Winterfest is Waterbury’s time to celebrate all things about winter recreation.
During the cold winter, there are still fun activities to do indoors – but also outdoors. The two-day event had various options for people to enjoy, whether it was making Valentine’s Day cards or enjoying some cotton candy. On Sunday, some families gathered at Seminary Art Center to create Valentine’s Day cards.
“My favorite part is seeing kids here, families here just getting out doing something fun, something different,” M.K. Monley of MakerSphere said.
There were 13 event hosts this year. Proceeds from Winterfest go to Waterbury’s recreation opportunities and support growth in the community.
